THE OPPORTUNITY The Senior Manager (Senior HR Business Partner) provides strategic HR leadership and advice to leaders of specific client groups and is a key contributor to deploying, growing and supporting innovative, practical and business-focused talent initiatives and activities covering all aspects of organizational growth, culture and talent. As a key advisor and coach to business group leaders and employees, largely represented in our Victoria office, the role partners closely with all levels of leadership to align their business needs to the development of talent/culture to ensure capabilities in meeting both short and longer-term organizational objectives. WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH The Business Partnership Center of Excellence (COE) is comprised of a team of 10 who are responsible for the delivery of BCI’s people strategies and programs to all internal stakeholders and acts as the primary contact between HR and BCI’s employees. The team works collaboratively with other areas within HR such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee Experience & Inclusion and Talent Management. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Partner with business leaders in the creation and execution of overall business strategies focused on talent and people initiatives. Provide guidance, coaching and advice to senior leaders on a range of HR strategic functions that create long-term benefit for BCI, including organization design, workforce strategy, succession planning and talent planning. Provide creative solutions and options that balance HR practices, employment law considerations and the business realities of a global investment organization Build organizational capability by influencing the alignment of strategy, culture, practices and behavior. SALARY RANGE BCI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan and paid time off. The annualized base salary range for this role is CAD $120,000 to $150,000.
