Job Summary We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as Director of Organizational Effectiveness & Change Leadership, responsible for driving enterprise-wide transformation, enabling strategic initiatives, and activating business capabilities across a diverse portfolio of programs and internal stakeholders. This role partners closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to design and implement strategies that enhance organizational agility, performance, and culture. The Director will lead with curiosity and empathy, engaging stakeholders to understand their unique needs and challenges, while delivering high-impact solutions that foster sustainable change. In addition to strategic oversight, this role is hands-on—producing key deliverables such as change management plans, stakeholder engagement materials, performance dashboards, and visual models. The Director will also oversee organizational systems that promote efficiency, adaptability, and measurable business outcomes, leveraging modern tools including AI-enabled platforms like Microsoft Copilot, Miro, Asana, and Smartsheet. This position leads a team of internal employees and external partners, managing a budget for professional services and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. Specific Responsibilities Design and execute strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, change leadership, and business activation. Lead the development and implementation of change management plans across strategic initiatives and customer groups. Partner with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and define success metrics. Engage stakeholders with empathy and active listening to uncover insights and co-create solutions. Provide coaching and guidance on change management principles, including toolkits, training, and communications. Contribute directly to project teams, leading stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and communication planning. Implement systems and processes that support continuous improvement and business optimization. Activate business initiatives through risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and performance tracking. Foster clarity around services, priorities, and partnerships to support successful change delivery. Design scalable systems that enhance collaboration, decision-making, and information flow using tools like Miro, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Planner. Define and report on KPIs to measure organizational system effectiveness and business impact. Integrate emerging technologies, including AI-powered analytics and collaboration platforms. Lead the design of operating models and organizational structures, including visual simulations and scenario planning. Build knowledge management systems to capture and share organizational insights and best practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, change leadership, strategy realization, and business activation. Key Competencies Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives across complex environments. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Expertise in organizational design, systems thinking, and performance optimization. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Experience with digital collaboration platforms and AI-enabled tools. Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
