Responsibilities
Creates a plan and schedule for cycle counting of parts and take ownership of annual cycle counting
Reconciling parts in CMMS quantities against physical inventory counts
Updates CMMS counts based on cycle counting and annual count
Create new parts entries in CMMS
Create Min/Max and reordering levels for parts in CMMS, based on historical use and lead times
Works with maintenance planner to order and kit parts for downday maintenance and annual overhaul of the lines
Submits requisitions for parts approval to maintenance supervisor and manager
Sends PO to vendors once requisition is approved by maintenance supervisor and manager
Tracks parts received against PO issued
Advises invoicing clerk when all parts / services are received against a PO so the invoice can be processed
Maintains accurate tracking of all POs issued every period and of open requisitions
Maintains accurate tracking of PO issued against the invoices submitted every period
Work closely with the maintenance team to place orders and schedule work
Receive invoices and track spending against monthly maintenance/manufacturing budget
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other tasks as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications
Strong technical / Mechanical background to be able to work with maintenance technicians and vendors to order necessary parts
Good computer skills and knowledge
Previous experience with Infor, SAP, MS Office, MS Excel will be an asset but not a requirement
Demonstrate a high level of autonomy (ability to work under minimal supervision)
Great organization skills
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to follow written procedures for existing processes and equipment
Demonstrate a sense of urgency and high level of dedication
Have a positive attitude and attention to details
Ability to write, understand and speak English fluently
Able to demonstrate an aptitude in writing and mathematics to complete paperwork accurately and legibly
