Status: Temporary, full time 4 months
Responsibilities:
Assist in reviewing and updating SOPs and work instructions.
Assist in the execution and completion of medical device Recalls.
Maintain and index Quality Records utilizing the Abbott RIMS system.
Maintain customer contacts list for quality communications by coordinating with sales and service departments.
Support in Third party Logistics monitoring, qualifications and monthly Gemba walks.
Provide support as needed for both Canadian and Global Quality initiatives.
Work across multiple business units of Abbott and will be exposed to multiple different diagnostics devices and classes.
Required Education and Experience:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a co-op- university program e.g. life sciences biomedical, chemical engineering, Quality, or compliance discipline.
Ideally knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Quality System standards and regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR 820; ISO 13485; IVDD; etc. Knowledge of Canada’s CMDR.
Keen analytical judgment; good decision-making abilities; good resolution of issues; good organizational skills and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills.
