Job Description Position Summary The Assistant, Business Solutions will provide essential support to the Business Solutions Team in the strategic media planning and execution of campaigns for a diverse portfolio of clients. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within the media and advertising industry. The Assistant will collaborate with Planners, Supervisors, and the Director to ensure campaigns are executed with precision and clients receive best-in-class service. Key Responsibilities Client & Team Support Provide day-to-day support for client accounts, ensuring deliverables are accurate, on time, and aligned with client objectives. Assist in the preparation of client presentations, campaign summaries, and reporting documents. Serve as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and client service teams as needed. Media Planning & Execution Support Planners and Supervisors in the development of media plans across traditional and digital channels. Assist with the creation and management of media purchase authorizations, insertion orders, and related documentation. Participate in research and data gathering to support strategic recommendations. Vendor Management Coordinate vendor communications, including briefing and information gathering. Support vendor negotiations under the guidance of senior team members. Track deliverables and ensure vendor commitments are met. Financial Management Assist with campaign billing, reconciliation, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgets. Work with Finance and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Research & Insights Utilize media research tools (e.g., Numeris, Vividata, Comscore, etc.) to compile insights for planning. Monitor marketplace trends and provide summaries to team members. General Support Provide administrative and organizational support to the Business Solutions Team. Help ensure best practices and workflows are maintained across client accounts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Internship or 0–2 years of experience in media, marketing, or advertising preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with media planning tools and research platforms a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in media planning and client service.
