We are seeking an Investment Consultant to join our Investment Manager Research team. This team ensures our Wealth Platforms meet client needs and remain industry-leading. You will play a pivotal role in:
Supporting the Investment Manager Review (IMR) process across Individual and Group Customer platforms.
Conducting in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment subadvisors and products.
Identifying new and innovative investment solutions.
Communicating insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and committees.
What you will do
Execute the IMR process, including portfolio manager due diligence and performance reviews.
Analyze fund performance using tools like Morningstar Direct and eVestment.
Develop strategic reports and dashboards to support fund-related business decisions.
Conduct competitive and industry research to inform platform enhancements.
Collaborate across teams to support strategic initiatives and product development.
Present findings to the IMR Committee and other internal stakeholders.
What you will bring
5–10 years of experience in investment manager research and portfolio analytics.
Deep knowledge of mutual funds, segregated funds, ETFs, and alternative investments.
Proficiency in Excel, VBA, Microsoft Access, and performance attribution tools.
Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
A university degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field.
Professional designations such as CFA, CAIA, CIM, or MBA are recommended.
The base salary for this position is between $67,000 - $ 117,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
