Sr Logistic Analyst
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Hybrid - Ontario, Canada (candidate will work remotely but visit the Milton DC 3x per week)
Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain, this role is responsible for supporting the daily tactical operations of Canada’s 3PL-operated Distribution Center (DC). Key areas of focus include inventory management, customer quality assurance, data integrity, and operational reporting. The incumbent will collaborate closely with onsite 3PL personnel and the broader Kohler team members to ensure accurate execution of essential functions aligned with site-level goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, this position will oversee the planning and coordination of all shipment modes from the DC.
Specific Responsibilities
Plan and schedule all outbound shipments (Truckload, Less-than-Truckload, Parcel) by analyzing customer orders, unfulfilled demand, and available inventory to optimize trailer cube utilization and meet customer delivery requirements.
Liaise directly with Customer Service to manage orders that cannot be consolidated, coordinate delivery appointments, and manually allocate inventory when necessary to improve supply chain velocity and ensure on-time shipments.
Collaborate with onsite operations teams to maintain high inventory accuracy by managing warehouse goods receipts, monitoring aged shipments, and investigating receipt discrepancies.
Work with 3PL personnel to conduct investigations or verifications requested by Customer Service, Sales, Quality, or Engineering, including coordinating special selections, product availability checks, and quarantine management.
Partner with 3PL Operations and Quality teams to investigate customer quality issues, perform root cause analyses, and communicate corrective actions to Kohler Sales and Customer Service teams.
Lead daily stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams including Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service (as needed), and other Supply Chain teams. These meetings will serve as a critical forum for collaboration, issue resolution, risk mitigation and alignment on shifting priorities and expectations for floor-level execution.
Generate and distribute monthly inventory-related KPI reports, including metrics on inventory accuracy, cycle count performance, SAP data alignment, inventory levels, and pending inbound deliveries.
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support leadership decision-making and cross-functional initiatives
Support special projects as required.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain or Operations
ERP experience required; SAP and WMS (SAP WM, JDA/Blue Yonder) preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and lead strategic initiatives that improve operations and customer satisfaction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in French (Canadian) is an asset
Six Sigma and APICS-CPIM certifications preferred
Knowledge of Wholesale, Retail, and e-commerce channels and supply chain trends is a plus
