Job Description Reporting to the Custody Domain Program Director, the Senior Project Manager, WII Business Technology is responsible for managing the initiation, planning, and execution of waterfall/agile projects. You will provide expertise in managing vendor deliverables, integration, data, and reporting. You will be responsible for building relationships between IT, Vendor, & Business stakeholders at all levels of the organization, engender a positive environment and ensure your projects are successfully executed. This role brings strong project management and scrum master knowledge and experience, effective written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic and a demonstrated capability to multi-task effectively. This role requires strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as a demonstrated sense of urgency to respond to changing priorities at times. This is complemented by a positive attitude and a willingness to take accountability for results achieved. What will you do? Manages program/program sometimes with multiple workstreams that could be managed by other PMs/Scrum Masters. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments. Serving as a liaison and building bridges among team members within the project, including vendors. Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g. Vendors, RBC IT teams, Product) Develop and manage the detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks, issues and clear escalation path for project committees. Develop PARs and oversee financials and staffing levels to efficiently meet project delivery requirements, complete risk assessments, and tracks value for effective decision-making. Build / present for Senior Director & VP level presentations & project communications. Initiates process improvements and promotes agile enablement within the team. What you need to succeed? Must-have 10+ years of combined Project Management and Scrum Master experience working on medium-to-high complexity initiatives. 5+ years of experience in Agile Project Management and/or Senior Scrum Master roles, with expertise in both waterfall and Agile methodologies. Extensive experience in managing technology and business projects with high degree of complexity, systems integration and organizational change management. Proven ability to manage high-visibility projects with strong executive presence and excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Undergraduate degree with CSM, PMP or equivalent certification with proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint. Strong understanding of change and risk management, SDLC, and advanced knowledge of Agile Project Management workflows, including sprint backlogs, milestones, release burndowns, and work-back schedules. A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a sense of urgency and flexibility. Nice to have Experience in a matrix environment, preferably within a financial institution. What’s in it for you?
