Our Brokerage Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build industry connections, and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic team. Internship Program Overview Our 16-week brokerage rotational program provides a comprehensive introduction to brokerage services and associated departments, including: Research & GIS: Understand market trend analysis, compile reports, and support data-driven decision-making. Data Operations: Learn how data powers the industry by assisting in data quality initiatives and database management to gain insights on the markets. Marketing Studio: Contribute to the design and execution of marketing materials that drive business development. Brokerage Operations: Gain insight into the operational side of the Brokerage business. Finance: Complete a hands-on case study to discover the buyer, seller, and lender perspectives of commercial real estate transactions. Broker Support: Work directly with teams to support their success. In addition to the day-to-day tasks, our early careers team offers a comprehensive internship program with opportunities to learn, network, and grow through industry-focused sessions, speaker series, and social events. You’ll connect with colleagues across the business, from other interns to senior leaders, to build your confidence, leadership, and knowledge of commercial real estate. In this role, you will… Tackle real-life tasks and projects to enhance the quality and accuracy of Colliers property and client data including our key platforms. Collaborate with internal teams and brokers on live projects and client engagements. Research and analyze market data across a variety of sectors to support our research insights and client solutions. Learn and apply marketing best practices that are integral to real estate transactions. Participate in networking events and professional development workshops. Other duties as required. What you’ll bring Current student at a Canadian University majoring in Business, Real Estate, Economics or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with an expected graduation date in 2027. A demonstrated interest in Real Estate through involvement with campus clubs, case competitions, or relevant courses. Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a similar role is considered an asset. Analytical and detail-oriented, proficient in Excel. Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Skilled communicators with a collaborative mindset. Passionate about learning and ready to tackle challenges in a professional environment. Maintains a high degree of discretion and confidentiality; uses diplomacy, and judgment in disclosing information. Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills. Must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
