About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle from managing leads to closing FreshBooks in-market plans from the inbound phone, chats and meetings. In addition, you will work closely with the Support Accountant Channel and Product Team to close high-value accounts together.
NOTE: This role is hybrid, i.e. the team comes together in our downtown Toronto office up to twice a week.
What You'll Do
Proactively reach out to customers with a minimum of 40 calls per day.
Manage up to 25 hours per week on inbound chat inquiries.
Be responsible for a full sales cycle, driving new customer acquisition by closing in-market FreshBooks plans daily to achieve individual MRR quotas.
Qualify inbound leads generated from support tickets and internal marketing efforts, closing opportunities with new customers or passing them to the Upsell team.
Ensure all administrative tasks and cadences are accurate and up to date.
Effectively utilize Salesforce.com to accurately forecast pipeline creation and pipeline acceptance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer support team and collaborate on customer engagement.
Meet or exceed assigned performance targets, including calls and leads generated per day.

You'll Stand Out If You Bring Experience In
Experience in any type of sales, whether it's door-to-door, cold calling, or other forms of outreach.
Previous experience working with a SaaS company is a plus.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Understanding of the financial industry with an interest in data and numbers.
