Job Description
The Manager of Hospitality Excellence is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing a sustainable outstanding business model and culture across Aramark Canada for Hospitality Excellence. Responsible for teaching and coaching Aramark policy and process standardization, as well as implementing strategic innovation surrounding automation and improvements for cost effectiveness and increased efficiencies. The goal of this position is to improve productivity, cost control, risk mitigation, and the overall customer experience through standard repeatable processes and automation. This individual will lead the planning and execution for improvement process, in conjunction with Hospitality Excellence team, support transforming change within the operations that integrates strategy, technology and people to drive value for customers and overall Aramark. In addition, the successful candidate will partner with Business Process Owners (BPOs) across all functions of Financial Shared Services to develop, implement and standardize policies, SOX compliance and metrics for the operations.Job Responsibilities
Lead technology mobilization, project and change management: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support technology adoption, focusing on people and change management. Support implementation of technology field solutions such as customer-facing point of sale systems, mobile applications, digital signage, autonomous stores, smart vending, robotics, and other innovative solutions addressing business and market challenges.
Support technology and financial targets: Assist internal teams in understanding new technology and operational standards to help achieve financial goals through effective use of systems. Support capital projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of technology in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Drive standardized processes: Collaborate across functions to create consistent, repeatable processes that enhance guest experience and operational excellence. Monitor technology ecosystem performance against goals and proactively recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
Train and develop teams: Provide training and educational resources to frontline teams on new technologies, ensuring proper knowledge and skills for system use. Manage master customer facing technology program lists by solution and update and maintain Sharepoint resources.
Growth: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify, pursue, and support new business opportunities, mobilizations, and retention efforts. This includes contributing to strategic planning, assisting with project launches, and ensuring that operational standards and training are in place to drive successful outcomes and sustained client relationships.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skill, root cause problem solving and general curiosity
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications required
Knowledge and experience with enterprise productivity systems and dashboards
Results oriented, pursues impact with an ability to coach, train, and influence without authority
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team environment
Positive attitude and models culture of engagement, respect, and integrity
Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation abilities
Comfortable in fast paced, dynamic and decentralized environments
Encourages and demonstrates collaboration by developing relationships throughout the organization.
Ability to establish trust and credibility in the field
Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role or a management operations role
