Roles & Responsibilities: Ability to communicate and update firmware, software and associated links to communicate with Plant equipment. Ability to write to the variety of programs via separate vendors to implement changes requested by Production. Create programs/applications with PLC/HMI for new or replacement installations. Strong understanding of Packaging and Process requirements and the effects of change. Ongoing training on new equipment and maintenance practices would be a requirement. Qualifications & Experience: Experienced with: Allen Bradley - PLC 500/5000, HMI ME/Panelbuilder, Panelview Plus, Devicenet, Modbus. Amplifier / Servo programming. A technical background in the area of sophisticated packaging or mechanical equipment repair is desired. Must also have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Allen Bradley PLC experience 5 year+ Industrial Electrician certificate or equivalent. Ability to work with minimal supervision and you value team effort Excellent communication skills both verbally and written Problem solving & planning Work / assist the Engineering Dept on Projects and upgrades C of Q – Industrial or Construction Electrician (309A or 442) Food manufacturing experience considered an asset Physical Activity / Working Conditions: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
