Scope of the position:
The Human Resources Intern will assist and support in performing Human Resources related duties on a professional level and work closely with the Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Generalist and plant supervisors and managers. The Human Resources Intern will assist in facilitating the responsibility for recruiting and onboarding; and provide valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities in the organization. They will also assist in working to ensure positive employee relations, and is also involved in training, policy implementation, affirmative action, and employment law.
Responsibilities:
Exposure to all relevant duties consistent with the human resources department.
Responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005.
Responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) as stated in CQAM.00001 – Corporate Quality Manual.
Qualifications:
Pursuing or have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic Mathematical skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.
Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
Detail oriented.
