We are currently seeking a Senior Scheduler to play a key role in driving project success and supporting our continued growth.
This is a full-time, non-remote position based in downtown Toronto.
The Opportunity:
As a Senior Scheduler, you will take ownership of complex scheduling activities across multiple projects and clients. You will work closely with project teams to develop, manage, and analyze schedules that provide clear insight into project progress, risks, and opportunities. This is a pivotal role that combines technical excellence with leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of project baseline schedules across all project phases.
Partner with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure schedules are accurate, realistic, and aligned with project goals and contractual obligations.
Provide expert-level analysis of schedule performance, identifying critical paths, variances, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Facilitate and lead schedule review meetings with clients and stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations with confidence and clarity.
Conduct detailed schedule impact and delay analyses, supporting claims, forecasts, and recovery plans.
Champion best practices in schedule management and project controls across the organization.
Prepare high-quality schedule and progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for internal and client use.
Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable acts, regulations, and codes.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering skill development and consistency in scheduling practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
College or university degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
7+ years of relevant experience in project scheduling within an engineering, consulting, or professional services environment.
Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Deep understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM), project controls principles, and earned value management.
Proven ability to manage multiple schedules across complex projects with competing priorities.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrated success in identifying schedule-related issues and risks, proposing solutions, and influencing outcomes.
Solid understanding of construction disciplines, safety regulations, quality, and cost control.
Consulting experience and experience across multiple sectors (infrastructure, energy, transportation, etc.) are strong assets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and organizational maturity.
A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours.
Able to work in-office, non-remote, in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
