A proximity Service Desk Agent is a technician usually intermediate or advanced who directly assists a given site (ex: Plan 1 & Plan 3). His role is varied and touches all areas of office automation technology while also involving good basic knowledge of telecommunications and infrastructure.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Consider and resolve support service tickets sent by level 1
Assist users in kiosk mode
Carry out physical interventions on user equipment
Prepare computers of all kinds (laptops, desktops, ...) as well as cell phones and all other types of assets to support our assembly, manufacturing and logistics operations
Place and follow up service calls with the various hardware suppliers (dell, Ricoh, Panasonic, etc.)
Delivery of equipment to users and training in the BRP environment
Ensure escalation of recurring problems in order to notify colleagues and immediate supervisor
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in computer support for users and having developed the knowledge required to solve the most complex problems.
In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft and Google products.
Fluency in English and French (written and spoken). English is required in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis.
A keen sense of customer service.
Proven ability to work and collaborate within a dynamic team and in a constantly changing environment.
Adopt a positive attitude and know how to adapt your speech to the level of knowledge of the user.
