Reporting directly to the Director of People Culture & Experience (PCEx), you will spearhead the day-to-day operations of our compensation, benefits, pension, and HRIS initiatives. Your expertise will guide the enhancement and execution of a total rewards strategy that not only attracts but also retains top talent. You’ll optimize our HRIS to ensure it serves as a robust tool driving efficient HR operations, enhancing the experience for our employees. As the subject matter expert, you will collaborate with external consultants, insurance plan carriers, and vendors to design and deliver innovative total rewards programs. You will work closely with our Director to develop and execute an HR operations roadmap that elevates service delivery and maximizes our HR technology. Your Leadership Role Includes: Inspiring and leading a dynamic team of total rewards professionals with a focus on service excellence and high performance. Overseeing and administering all compensation, benefits, and pension plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and proposing impactful changes. Advising leaders and HR colleagues on total rewards solutions that align with our hospital’s mission and objectives. Analyzing market data and industry best practices to shape competitive compensation programs and strategies. Designing and implementing creative, cost-effective total rewards plans that position Southlake as a leader in the healthcare sector. Ensuring the integrity of our HR systems and conducting audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance. Staying ahead of evolving legislation and proactively recommending compliance actions. Participating in total rewards surveys to benchmark our offerings against the industry. What You Bring: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation and/or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred. Over seven (7) years of progressive experience in total rewards roles within complex, unionized public sector environments, including at least three (3) years of team leadership. Proficiency in union and non-union salary administration, compensation design, market analysis, and benefit administration. A track record of continuous process improvement and leveraging HRIS systems for optimal workflow. Strong understanding of employment legislation, collective agreements, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
