Intern, Security (Organizational Resilience)
This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
Job Summary
The Intern, Security (Organizational Resilience) will support the Crisis Leadership Group in the continuing development and enhancement of CN's Crisis Management Portfolio, Business Continuity Plan, and C-Emergency Operations Center protocols.
Main Responsibilities
Support the development of CN's Crisis Response Playbooks
Assist in reviewing, updating, and standardizing CN Police and Corporate Security protocols
Benchmark CN's practices against industry standards and regulatory requirements
Assist with the preparation of department communications (e.g., gather subjects, help with the drafting and revision of the texts)
Enhance organizational resilience through risk scenario planning
Improve internal and external communication strategies for crisis situations
Requirements
Demonstrates active listening
Applies analytical thinking to make recommendations that pursue sustainable performance
Inspires others with impactful communications and adapts to the audience
Experience with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of business impact analysis, crisis management, risk analysis, incident management, emergency response, emergency management notification systems
Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)
Education
Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management, or related field
