About the role:
The Web Developer/Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and executing content, design, and web strategies that enhance user experience and align with business objectives. This role combines research-driven insights, creative graphic design, and front-end web development to deliver visually compelling, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences across multiple platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
Conduct user research and stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform content development.
Develop and execute content strategies that align with business objectives, audience needs, and brand voice.
Establish best practices for content creation and guide overall content strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, insights, and feedback for informed content decisions.
Design and develop visually compelling graphics and user-centric content for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email campaigns, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Ensure content uses plain language, meets web accessibility standards, and resonates with diverse audiences.
Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
Maintain editorial calendars and manage content lifecycles.
Continuously measure and analyze content performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize content for maximum impact.
Oversee the development and execution of marketing projects, including advertisements, promotional materials, presentations, web design, and more.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design and messaging across all marketing channels.
Design visually compelling, user-focused interfaces and transform layouts and prototypes into pixel-perfect, production-ready web pages that align with brand and UX best practices.
Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing front-end pages using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement animations, micro-interactions, and UI effects to enhance user experience and interface usability.
Optimize website performance by improving load speed, SEO structure, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
Collaborate closely with creative and content teams to maintain a consistent design language across all digital touchpoints.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
Integrate multimedia elements, including audio and video, into the website.
Monitor website traffic and deliver reports on website traffic.
Stay current with emerging trends in UI/UX design
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What we need you to bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
1 - 3 years of experience in content design or marketing.
Experience working with design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, digital marketing platforms, and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
Fluency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and UI/UX principles
Proven experience in website design and graphic design.
Strong knowledge of WordPress, Elementor, and other web design platforms
Experience working in the insurance industry is considered an asset.
