Weekend Receptionist Key Responsibilities: Welcome and assist clients, guests, and staff upon arrival. Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently. Manage and distribute incoming mail and handle outgoing mail processes. Receive and notify staff of package deliveries promptly. Coordinate courier collections and other delivery services. Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department. Organise transport for clients. Organise the packing and shipping of items to clients, ensuring safe packing of hazardous materials. Assist with restaurant bookings, party planning, and organising transportation and security as needed. Perform word processing, filing, and other computer-based admin tasks, including accurate job logging. Maintain a clean and organised reception area. Provide administrative support as needed. Provide cover for colleagues during absences. Ensure office pets are cared for and arrange any veterinary appointments. Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position. Knowledge and Skills: Proven experience as a receptionist. Experience with switchboard operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet usage. Familiarity with operating various office machines. Formal qualifications relevant to the role are desirable.
