Overview
As a key member of the Conversion Team, the Conversion Forklift Operator is an instrumental part of the conversion team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for all event related items from storage rooms including; stage set up/tear down, ice deck flooring, rink glass, basketball flooring etc.
This role pays an hourly rate of $22.50 CAD

Responsibilities
Remove, set up and store all event related items from various storage rooms utilizing a forklift
Communicate positively and professionally with internal customers and co-workers to meet organizational goals
Ensure work area and equipment is always clean and in safe working order
Must be able to bend, stretch, move in repetitive motions, etc.
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs unaided
Adhere to all OVG service standards and policies
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2-4 years’ experience safely operating a forklift
Available to work overnight shifts and weekends with some flexibility for late afternoon shifts
Previous experience in general labour/construction is an asset
Ability to work while under pressure; meet tight deadlines
Positive team spirit and a professional winning attitude
Valid forklift certification provided by reputable training company/ school
