Position Summary:
Trillium Health Partners is seeking a computer science student for a co-op position for scripting and automation of our applications pertaining to a monthly security patching cycle.
You will play a vital role in streamlining our workflows and enhancing security of our applications. You will work alongside our talented applications analyst team contributing directly to a project that will have real impact on our day to day operations. This is an excellent opportunity to apply the academic knowledge you have gained as a computer science student in a practical setting allowing you to learn new technologies, and develop valuable skills for your future career.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assisting in the development and maintenance of automation scripts using Microsoft Power Automate
Working on automating repetitive tasks related to monthly application security patch testing, deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
Collaborating with team members to identify opportunities for automation and implement effective solutions.
Contributing to the development of tools and frameworks that support automation efforts.
Documenting scripts and automation processes clearly and concisely.
Troubleshooting automation issues and working to find effective solutions.
Potentially assisting with the integration of automation scripts into existing CI/CD pipelines.
Learning about various clinical applications and their underlying technologies.
What You'll Bring:
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related program.
Strong foundational knowledge of programming concepts and logic.
Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
A keen interest in automation and improving efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Bonus Points For:
Previous experience utilizing AI for code development
Exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate
Previous experience with automation tools or frameworks
