YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our efforts in operational stability and infrastructure automation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex software development and reliable network operations. You will not only provide high-level support for our business-critical environments but also champion the transition from manual operations to fully automated, code-driven infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in Linux ecosystems and strong coding proficiency in Python, Go, and Java to build internal tooling and automation frameworks.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
Infrastructure Automation: Develop and implement end-to-end automation solutions using Ansible. Convert legacy manual processes into reusable, scalable playbooks and roles.
Tooling & Scripting: Design, develop and maintain custom operational tools and microservices using Python, Golang, and Java.
System Administration: Provide expert-level administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for enterprise Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu).
Operational Support: Serve as an escalation point for complex production incidents; lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventative measures.
CI/CD Optimization: Manage and optimize build/release pipelines to ensure seamless deployment of Java and Go applications.
Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers, establishing best practices for code reviews and infrastructure management.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in Software Development, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
Deep understanding of Linux internals, kernel tuning, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP), and shell scripting.
Strong coding skills in Python for automation and glue code.
Experience with Java (specifically regarding JVM tuning, build tools like Maven/Gradle, and troubleshooting stack traces).
Experience with Golang for building high-performance CLI tools or backend services.
Expert-level proficiency with Ansible (writing custom modules, dynamic inventories, and complex playbooks).
Advanced knowledge of Git workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Containerization and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
Experience with Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, KVM, Vmware.
Background in networking (firewalls, load balancers, switches) is a strong plus.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a "fix it once, automate it forever" mindset.
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical justifications to management.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
