Description
MISSION:
To lead and continuously improve the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal standards while driving defect reduction, process capability, and a culture of quality across the manufacturing site.
Outcomes:
Lead the Site’s Quality Management System (QMS) to Compliance and Excellence:
Maintain AAR M1003 (or other applicable standards) certification with zero major non-conformances and ensure 100% of quality procedures and work instructions are current, fully followed, and audited quarterly.
Reduce Customer Complaints & Improve Customer Satisfaction:
Reduce customer product complaints by ≥ 20% within 12 months.
Improve Internal Quality Performance:
Deliver a 10–15% reduction in rework costs year over year.
Build and Lead a High-Performing Quality Team:
Develop and implement a training plan for all Quality Technicians and Inspectors.
Drive Continuous Improvement Culture:
Lead at least 2 major CI projects per year tied to quality or process improvement.

Manufacturing Quality experience:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience, applying advanced knowledge of PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, and AAR M1003 standards.
Skilled in metrology, inspection methods, and ERP/QMS systems (Epicor, Plex, SAP) to drive compliance, product quality, and continuous improvement.
