Job overview
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting and securing new business for the Easton's Group of Hotels portfolio. This individual will be responsible for lead and revenue generation in the SMERF, and Tour and Travel group markets, including meetings and events.
As regional sales manager with Easton's Group of Hotels collection you will work closely with the hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest service and strong financial results. You will also participate in the sales and marketing efforts within the properties.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve lead generation and revenue targets with a focus on growth and development for Easton's Group of Hotel collection and/or assigned hotels or geographical areas as required.
- Develop business through direct sales solicitation: including (but not limited to) outside sales calls prospecting networking and attending trade shows to maximize revenue to meet or exceed goals.
- Solicit, negotiate and close new and repeat business, based on assigned market segments
- Submit weekly sales action plans to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, outlining sales activities and results from previous property prospecting activities; and other reports as needed
- Respond to all assigned leads and customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Bring a perspective of out-of-the-box ideas to the position; specific areas of responsibility include establishing managing and communicating overall account strategies in alignment with the overall segment priorities, mapping buyers to accounts, defending and growing market share and achieving revenue targets for assigned accounts.
- Consulting with relevant cross discipline resources to ensure effective pull through of account strategies.
- Participate in annual business strategy and tactical planning, including budgeting for your market segments.
- Retain expand and grow account revenue through account growth margin management and implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Conduct account and market research and use to develop strategies to grow market share in specific segments
- Assist in developing optimal total account management on delivering customer value and growing account share establish and maintain strong business relationships with key economic buying influencers.
- Function as the customers advocate through understanding account customer needs and opportunities.
- Monitor current and future customer needs goals and attitudes including competitor activity to guide targeted solution development while removing barriers to business solution development.
- Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities; entertains qualified potential clients per company and property policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain client database.
- Liaise effectively with on-site hotel teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Attend industry events, conferences and Easton's Group of Hotels events as required
- Travel to Easton's Group of Hotels on a regular basis.
- All other duties as assigned by the Chief Sales \& Marketing Officer
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, and five years total sales manager experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting.
- Must possess superior English language communication skills (written and verbal), excellent computer skills (Microsoft, Excel) is an asset
- Previous regional/area or cluster sales manager experience is an asset.
- Extensive experience in prospecting and business/account development.
- This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Frequently standing up or moving within and outside of the facility
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Handling objects
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with clients, leadership, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.

- Necessary to have a valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
