Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Develop and review design concepts, ensuring alignment with project budgets, schedules, and client requirements. Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
Ensure project deliverables, such as drawings, calculations, and reports, meet quality standards and client expectations. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. Conduct site visits, review installations, and provide contract admin support.
Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering and sustainable design. Qualifications10+ years of experience in electrical engineering for buildings projects. P.Eng.
designation in British Columbia. Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple projects in the buildings sector. Strong knowledge of BC electrical codes and standards.
Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Excellent technical skills. Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED accreditation is an asset. Compensation Range$115K - $145K+ base salary depending on experience plus performance bonuses
