A role you will love
Reporting to the Head of North America Issuer Services Marketing, you will be essential in building the marketing strategy and plan for Canada, developing strong value propositions, and creating impactful programs to drive business development, engagement, and retention. You will craft sales enablement tools, develop thought leadership content, and build integrated cross-channel marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will evaluate event opportunities, oversee planning and execution, and manage marketing execution and budget to deliver best-in-class practices and demonstrate ROI.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop marketing strategy, and build marketing plans to generate awareness, engagement, client retention and drive Computershare's growth and expansion in Canada, closely aligned to business objectives and key stakeholders.
- Develop compelling and segmented value proposition(s) for Issuer Services and adjacent solutions, aligned with Computershare's brand and North American issuer value proposition; create messaging, collateral, and tools to drive differentiation and support the business development and relationship management processes relating to future clients, strategic advisors/law firms, and existing clients.
- Lead the development of go-to-market programs for existing and new solutions and capabilities across Canadian business segments and regions, including development of relevant content, collateral, touch points, campaigns and programs designed to drive engagement, accelerate the sales cycle, and strengthen client retention within the Canadian market. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to define key priorities, objectives and programs.
- Support the delivery of various sales enablement and sales pursuit/RFP initiatives.
- Plan and execute in-market tradeshow/conferences and events programming within the Canadian market, and specific to local regions, collaborating with the Global Issuer Services Events Team and relevant business partners across North America. Provide messaging and content support for local industry and in-market events.
- Collaborate across the North American and Global Issuer and Computershare Marketing Teams to deliver marketing program excellence and best practices. Evaluate opportunities to continually improve the marketing mix, and end-to-end marketing execution.
- Functions as the primary contact and marketing lead for the Issuer Services business in Canada collaborating with business leadership in Canada to manage regional marketing priorities. Work closely with team members across all North American and Global marketing functions and channels to ensure messaging, content and digital channels are consistent and relevant for Canadian market.
- Develop and manage the Canada marketing plan and budget and evaluate ongoing effectiveness of marketing activities and programs.
- Review and report on marketing performance.
What will you bring to the role?
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, strategy, or management; Master's degree is a plus.
- 10 years of marketing experience in financial services or fintech, with a focus on client engagement, acquisition, and retention. Experience with equities/issuer solutions, and/or complex financial services solutions is a plus.
- Strategic thinker who can quickly assess a situation, business opportunity or challenge, synthesize information, collaboratively devise a plan, and execute by "rolling up sleeves" to do the work or align internal or external resources to deliver.
- Proven track record in developing and executing high-impact B2B marketing programs and go-to-market strategies. Experience incorporating competitive and market trends, client satisfaction/voice of client data, and other analyses to develop strategic and tactical marketing plans that drive engagement, growth and retention.
- Strong skills in digital, product, content, and influencer marketing, with attention to detail in analyses and communications.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse views.
- Exceptional project management skills, able to organize, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong critical thinking abilities, with a focus on analytical rigor to measure marketing performance.
- Experience with Eloqua, Salesforce, and other marketing tools, as well as in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is a plus.
- People management experience including attracting and developing talent is a plus.
