Job purpose
The purpose of the Delivery Driver is to provide superior customer service when delivering client orders. The driver will provide superior customer service outside of Pizza Quest by solving problems and ensuring client orders are processed within the desired time frame. The representative will work with Pizza Quest to collaborate and provide a full 360-degree customer experience from start to order finish. Duties and responsibilities
● Support client needs by fulfilling customer orders on time and safely
● Knows how to follow directions and maps
● Able to deliver food to customers with a positive attitude
● Provide solutions to Pizza Quest by ensuring up-to-date and accurate information is used in orders
● Able to work quickly, agile to fast changing work conditions, and able to thrive under pressure and deadlines
● Grow and maintain relationships with clients by offering superior service
● Work collectively and cultivate a team environment by supporting colleagues in their interactions
● Adhere to and follow corporate policies concerning client files and ensure documentation is well organized
● Process client orders in a timely and efficient manner ensuring that all records are updated
● Ensure that the utmost respect and privacy are followed when handling client files
● Ability to work alone and in team settings with proven problem solving and organizational skills
● Able to manage their time effectively and efficiently ensuring deadlines are met
Qualifications
General
● Must be legally able to work in Canada
● Must have valid driver's license in good standing
● Must have personal vehicle in good condition including insurance that is in good standing (proof required)
● Must be available part-time or full time, evenings, and weekends ( up to 40 hours a week)
Education/ Certifications/ Licenses
● Food Handling Certification an asset (not necessary)
● Smart Serve an asset (not necessary)
Experience
● Experience in deliveries (2+ years required)
● Experience in a fast-paced customer service role is required (preferably 2+ years)
Competencies, Skills, Abilities,
● Willing to grow and loves a continuous learning environment
● Ability to multi-task
● Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meeting client needs
● Must be technologically savvy and able to use multiple tech devices such as a computer, smartphone, emails, etc.
● Strong English written and oral communication skills
● Thorough understanding of working in a fast-paced food environment
● Experience with metric-based performance indicators with proven success
● Experience speaking to clients via technology is a plus
● Must be punctual and have flexible working conditions
● Ability to solve problems with proven conflict resolution skills
● Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others
● Strong self-management and self-awareness
