The Borgen Project advocates for leaders of the most powerful nations to prioritize global poverty in their foreign policies. Our campaign aims to influence U.S. and U.K. foreign policy to address this issue.

The Borgen Project is an international organization working at the political level to improve living conditions for those impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, we have supported the passage of bills benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
PR/Marketing Program This is a part-time, unpaid remote program requiring 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You can complete the program sooner if you have limited availability.
The role involves:
- Creating a branding campaign
- Conducting focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
- Pitching story ideas to media outlets
- Creating and implementing fundraising strategies
- Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
- Utilizing social media and developing web messaging strategies
- Supporting The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts
Experience: No prior experience is necessary. We seek individuals passionate about fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.
Details: This is an unpaid program, but college credit may be available.
Start Date: Programs start monthly; you can choose your start month.
