Harbour 60 is Toronto's premier luxury steakhouse, known for its exceptional cuisine, refined service, and elevated dining experience. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team for dinner service.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Pastry Cook with a strong sense of organization and a passion for creating high-end desserts. The ideal candidate thrives during service, works well independently, and can maintain exceptional quality while managing high volume. This is a full-time role that requires commitment, professionalism, and a desire to grow within a premium kitchen environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, premium restaurant setting
- Strong ability to work cleanly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a drive for consistency and quality
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Proven experience handling high-volume service
- Availability to work full-time evenings, including weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute plated desserts for dinner service with precision and speed
- Manage pastry station, including setup, service, and cleaning
- Ensure high standards of food safety and cleanliness are maintained
- Contribute to menu development and prep as required
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
