Job Description
Candidates must be currently located in the greater Toronto area and be able to attend onsite meetings in the Toronto office as needed As An Accounting Manager You Will
- Balance Sheet \& P\&L analytics prior to closing
- Coordinate with regional departments including HR, legal, Commercial, Treasury, CAS, IT etc, to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
- Consult on standardized process design and collaborate on process efficiencies
- Collaborate with tax team on direct and indirect tax matters
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting including Balance Sheet flux analysis and P\&L analytics
- Lead and provide direction/coordination on any M\&A integration \& reporting, as well as any ad hoc special projects.
- Manage various accounting activities, including review \& approvals of journal entry, account reconciliations, month end tie out and review quarterly/year end pack, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA preferred
- 5-8 years of progressive experience, preferably in a large global company
- Experience with OneStream and SAP preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment required
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (email, letters, reports, other correspondence) to varying external and internal contacts at varying levels
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with US GAAP Accounting and Sox Control
- Intellectually curious and analytically strong
- Progressive thinking skills and the ability to think and act independently
