About the RoleAs a Sales Engineer, you will take an active role in driving the expansion of our Gas, Fire, and Flame Detection Systems across Canada---focusing on the marine, industrial, energy, manufacturing, and transportation sectors. You'll be part of a supportive, ambitious, and collaborative team---backed by Swedish innovation and a global presence in over 30 countries. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in your territory.
- Prospect and onboard new clients while strengthening relationships with existing ones.
- Conduct in-person client visits, virtual presentations, product demos, and contract negotiations.
- Attend industry events, lunch \& learns, trade shows, and webinars.
- Collaborate with distributors, engineering firms, and contractors.
- Track leads, interactions, and forecasts using our CRM system.
- Stay current on industry trends, standards, and technologies.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field OR 2--5 years' experience in technical sales to the marine, industrial, or energy sectors in Canada.
- Strong "hunter" mentality with a track record of finding and closing new business.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
- Excellent communication skills, self-starter attitude, and high energy.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office 365, and business software tools.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, occasionally on short notice.
