Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment initiatives, crafting strategies to attract top-tier candidates aligned with the organization's mission and values.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and execute efficient onboarding processes.
- Design and deliver effective onboarding programs to acclimate new hires to the culture, policies, and procedures of the organization.
- Ensure employees have the resources and tools needed for early success.
- Create, revise, and implement HR policies in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise organizational leadership on legislative changes, compliance issues, and HR best practices.
- Partner with leadership to develop retention strategies that enhance the employee experience and reduce turnover.
- Facilitate programs and initiatives that improve workplace satisfaction and promote professional growth.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, offering guidance on HR processes, policies, and legislative matters.
- Oversee investigations and resolution of complex employee relations cases.
Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management preferred.

4+ years of directly related work experience in HR, preferably in a nonprofit environment.

CHRP and/or CHRL designation (completed or in progress).

Extensive knowledge of HR best practices, legislative compliance, and policy development.
