Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is dedicated to providing Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of home-based and community care services.
We are seeking a compassionate and independent Shift Personal Support Worker (PSW) to deliver excellent and empathetic care to our clients in the community. Our PSWs will work under the supervision of the Client Services Supervisor and alongside a team of healthcare providers, ensuring support and guidance.
What you will be doing :
- Providing personal care, respite services, and assistance with activities of daily living, making a direct impact on clients' lives.
- Working independently in the community while collaborating with a team under the guidance of an experienced supervisor. At CTG, we foster an environment of lifelong learning and sharing best practices.
Skills needed for success :
- Personal Support Worker or equivalent certificate from a recognized institution.
- Nursing students with at least 1 year of completed education.
- Internationally trained Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse, Midwife, Physician, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Social Worker, or Dietitian are encouraged to apply.
- Strong focus on client safety and the ability to develop respectful relationships with clients and families.
- Excellent skills in delivering high-quality customer experiences.
- Proven accountability for multiple deliverables, reporting, and high performance.
- Experience in independent problem solving and recognizing when support is needed.
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a Canadian Driver's license is required.
- Eligibility to work in Canada is mandatory.
