Your New Role:
- Investigate, manage, and resolve claims efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and authority limits while managing claims.
- Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets.
- Identify and investigate coverage issues to ensure that the company's liability is in line with its contractual commitments.
- Reserve accurately to ensure that the Company's liability is always clear.
- Respond proactively to messages, advice, and correspondence within agreed timeframes to provide a professional service to brokers and clients.
- Manage estimates and billings from clients' service providers and brokers, resolving discrepancies.
- Interact regularly with key stakeholders including customers, brokers, and internal partners.
- Manage disputed Claims and other material Claims issues to resolve and settle claims economically.
About you:
- Experience in handling Casualty Claims (CGL Claims) is required; some experience in Property claims is an asset.
- Coaching and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Organizational, investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to make balanced and impartial judgments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Relationship Management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and strong IT skills.
