Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Maintains workflow primarily within the robotic welding department, by monitoring steps of processes, assign personnel, robotic welders have smooth operation, programming changes and minor maintenance during shift.
- Support manufacturing PPAP requirements by coordinating activities between Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Operations.
- Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; train, coach, counsel and provide performance management to employees; initiate, coordinate and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) Rapid Response for Root Cause with coordination between functions during daily investigations, as required.
- Run daily Team Huddles, communicate goals, review workplace safety inspection and communicate safety expectations and hazards.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
Mindset, Skills \& Education

- A minimum of 5 years' experience with programming, troubleshooting and operation of Robotic Welding Cells, preferably Yaskawa.
- Supervisory capabilities, managing processes and sheet metal manufacturing preferred.
- Computer Skills -- ERP data input, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication expertise, with all levels of the company.
- Excellent time management expertise and very dependable.
- Availability to cover alternate shifts on short notice, as needed on an infrequent basis.
