Responsibilities
- Collaborate with peers to develop, troubleshoot, enhance, and document code aligned with strategic initiatives.
- Translate requirements into specifications, coordinate design phases, and resolve technical issues.
- Create and review technical design documents, facilitate meetings, and ensure quality in code development.
- Participate in reviews of technical specifications, code, and testing plans.
- Conduct thorough unit testing, develop automated tests, and improve performance through tuning.
- Plan activities, ensure quality, provide support, and drive platform evolution.
- Present technical topics and manage planning of work packages.
- Estimate activities related to design, coding, and testing.
Qualifications
Must-have:
- Enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Leadership skills and a passion for applying them in a business environment.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Creative, analytical, self-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Experience with programming languages, databases, frameworks, and web technologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of UML.
- Cross-browser development experience.
