Your Role as Baker
As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will lead our freshness commitment. Bakers start their days with an empty bakery, and when they leave, it's filled with artisan bread and treats for the community. No experience necessary---just the right attitude and willingness to learn.
What Your Day Looks Like
- Work as part of a small team to bake each morning, following recipes
- Keep the bakery clean and contribute to a great customer experience
- Read production schedules and recipes, measure and mix ingredients, mould and shape dough, and operate ovens
- Contribute to a positive work environment and culture
Requirements
- Early riser, able to work independently or in a team
- Pride in offering quality products to the community
- Positive attitude and good organizational skills
- Commitment to team success, bakery quality, and personal growth
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking continuously during tasks
- Frequent lifting up to 22 kg
- Reaching, turning, pushing, pulling, bending
- Lifting at least 2.5 kg to 1.7 meters height
- Use of hands, wrist rotation, occasional forceful gripping
