Ivie Athletica is growing --- and we're looking for passionate, high-energy instructors to join our team.
ABOUT US
Ivie Athletica is a boutique fitness studio serving busy professionals through strength-based classes, personalized coaching, and an elevated client experience. We recently acquiredRise Fitness KW, a studio with 14 years of community roots, and we're expanding our class offerings in a big way.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
An experienced instructor who's confident leading a room, coaching with intention, and creating a positive, high-performance environment. You should have a deep understanding of proper form and mechanics, but also know how to make fitness fun, inclusive, and motivating.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead safe, challenging, and engaging group classes (strength, conditioning, or specialty formats)
- Provide hands-on form correction and individual attention in a group setting
- Deliver a consistent class experience that aligns with Ivie's training philosophy
- Foster community and connection before, during, and after class
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Be open to feedback and continuous learning
REQUIREMENTS
- Current personal training or group fitness certification (CPT, FIS, etc.)
- Minimum 0.5-1 year of coaching or instructing experience
- Comfortable with strength-based training (dumbbells, barbells, etc.)
- CPR First Aid certified
- Available for early mornings, evenings, or weekends
BONUS IF YOU:
- Have experience working with high-performing or professional clientele
- Have a background in athletic coaching, Pilates, boxing, or mobility
- Are certified in specialty formats (e.g., pre/postnatal, kettlebell, etc.)
