Key ResponsibilitiesLead recruitment initiatives, crafting strategies to attract top-tier candidates aligned with the organization's mission and values. Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and execute efficient onboarding processes. Design and deliver effective onboarding programs to acclimate new hires to the culture, policies, and procedures of the organization.
Ensure employees have the resources and tools needed for early success. Create, revise, and implement HR policies in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Advise organizational leadership on legislative changes, compliance issues, and HR best practices.
Partner with leadership to develop retention strategies that enhance the employee experience and reduce turnover. Facilitate programs and initiatives that improve workplace satisfaction and promote professional growth. Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, offering guidance on HR processes, policies, and legislative matters.
Oversee investigations and resolution of complex employee relations cases. Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management preferred.4 years of directly related work experience in HR, preferably in a nonprofit environment. CHRP and/or CHRL designation (completed or in progress).
