OVERVIEW Alberta Blue Cross is looking for a full-time Portfolio Administrator to join our growing Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPMO) team. Reporting to the Manager, Portfolio Governance, the Portfolio Administrator plays an important role in supporting the processes, reporting and administration activities of the EPMO. This role supports the EPMO team members by coordinating project portfolio reporting and quarterly updates for presentation to ABC’s Executive Committee, supporting project administration and compliance activities, and assisting in the management of our portfolio management technology solutions. WHAT YOU WILL DO Coordinate the preparation of quarterly project portfolio updates and business case reviews for ABC’s Executive Committee. Establish, communicate and manage to a schedule for each quarterly update. Work closely with EPMO, IT and business leadership to ensure expectations are clear and materials are prepared. Consolidate project updates and business case material and prepare executive information packages. Support Portfolio Managers in compiling monthly project portfolio status reports. Support the Manager, Portfolio Governance in compiling monthly portfolio reports. Work with Project Managers to ensure required materials are in place to meet compliance requirements. Assist in managing and updating the EPMO’s technology solutions. Assist in developing and refining EPMO processes, templates, and best practices. Update EPMO training and reference materials to reflect changes to project delivery methodology, practices and guidelines. WHAT YOU WILL HAVE Diploma in a related field (e.g., information technology, business administration), or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of project administration and coordination experience. Basic knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, and techniques will be an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint). Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise working with project portfolio management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Jira). Strong organization and planning skills, with a penchant for detail. Experience working with multiple business and technology teams and third-party vendors. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to complete time sensitive tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple activities and responsibilities, with limited supervision. Strong collaboration, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
