Reporting to: Senior Planner
This person is responsible for: planning and coordination of maintenance, repairs and installation activities for both millwright and welding work.
What you will do:
Develop executable job plans using technical data, site conditions, and input from Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams.
Ensure plans comply with Nutrien Planning Standards, including safety procedures, best practices, and resource requirements.
Coordinate the availability of tools, parts, and external services; manage backlog and prioritize work to align with operational needs.
Maintain BOMs, task lists, and job plans in SAP and SpareFinder to support safety and productivity.
Collaborate with Trade Supervisors and Operations to establish and sustain a current, effective preventive maintenance (PM) program.
Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) process; provide technical input to Engineering and support planning and commissioning efforts.
Identify and address safety concerns; provide support and supervisory coverage within the Maintenance team as needed.
What you will bring:
Journeyperson certificate in a relevant mechanical trade or an Engineering Degree/Technologist diploma.
Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance or planning role within an industrial processing environment.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, millwright trade practices, and welding fundamentals.
Experience with SAP (preferred), SpareFinder, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
