Department of Psychology Course Code and Title: PSYC 444 - Sleep Mechanisms and Behaviours Responsibilities: Prepare formal lectures, organize classroom discussions, assess student’s assignments, presentations, and research project reports on the course material including topics which cover basic biological mechanisms, possible functions and behavioural aspects of sleep, disorders of sleep, their effects on behaviour and cognition, and treatment approaches; as well as medical, neurological and psychiatric disorders, and drugs, that affect sleep. Supervise Teaching assistants hired for the course.
