The sky is your limitWhat you will be doing:Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleaguesAssist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful wayMix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelinesHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methodsHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotionsHave knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Previous Mixology experience including cocktail creation requiredMust have BC Serving It Right CertificateMust have previous high-volume luxury food & beverage bartending experience. A 4-5 Diamond AAA/CAA or Forbes 5 Star hotel would be an asset.A Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality or Tourism is an assetExcellent knowledge of all beverage productsPrevious Point of Sale system experience an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesHighly responsible and reliableStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamAdditional InformationYour team and working environment:With a bar, dining room, and an outdoor terrace garden, Botanist is an offer filled with wonderment and charm.
