The Role
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator who has experience operating a telehandler, skid steer, and loader to join our team at Syncrude. Compensation/Benefits
CLAC rate: $43.62 - $48.59 \ Hour depending on experience
Time and a half after 8 hours per day

Responsibilities/Job Duties
Operate and transport materials around worksite
Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas and other locations
Position loads precisely in accordance with worksite needs
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues
Assist with manual labour tasks as needed
Site cleaning and preparation - Snow clean up
Requirements/Qualifications
Proven experience as an operator in similar role
Valid telehandler certificate is a must
Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment maintenance
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
Residence within Fort McMurray preferred
Must have valid safety tickets: CSO and WHMIS 2015
Ensure a safe team environment
Adhere to all company and worksite safety and quality processes and procedures
Strong communication skills
Desire to work in a team environment
Previous industrial experience is an asset
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions
