As the Identity Team Lead you will be supervising an effective Identity team to ensure business and technical service requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented to enable seamless and secure user experiences. What will you be doing? Advising IT Teams: Providing technical leadership and guidance to IT operations teams and business stakeholders, coordinating project delivery and service transition. Reducing Operational Risk: Enhancing the availability and reliability of directory and identity management systems to mitigate operational risks. Leading Service Activities: Ensuring the availability of critical business services through effective capacity planning and business continuity support. Optimising Service Operations: Ensuring optimal execution of service operations across IT Identity frameworks. Collaborating Across Functions: Working effectively within cross-functional teams to execute IT operations, service, and incident management processes. Evaluating System Designs: Assessing and validating system and solution designs to support IT service transition and management processes. Developing Relationships: Building and maintaining strong, effective working relationships with key stakeholders to support business objectives. What are we looking for in you? Experience: As a team lead, designing and configuring Identity and User Access Management platforms, with expertise in Entra, Active Directory & Azure AD, Azure MFA, Office 365, mail filtering solutions, and file storage. Technical Skills: Advanced working knowledge of operating system protocols, platform services, and system design; proven ability to implement automation and orchestration solutions; strong understanding of ITIL and DevOps processes and relevant service operations tools such as Jira. Key Abilities: Action-oriented with high energy and enthusiasm; effective collaborator and communicator, capable of building partnerships and delivering clear, tailored communications to diverse audiences. Planning and Adaptability: Skilled in planning and prioritising work to align with organisational goals; adaptable to changing situations and demands. Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in technical and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud) and Microsoft configuration management, including Active Directory, Federation Services, O365, Exchange Online, and Azure services. Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant information technology field; ITIL Foundation certification is mandatory; Azure, O365, or other cloud-related certifications, and Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) are desirable; relevant Microsoft MCSE certification and Cert IV or higher in Leadership Management would be advantageous. Service Delivery and Problem-Solving: Expert in analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting; strong ability to support service delivery and coordinate IT work packages; ability to operate effectively in a values-based organisation and role model desired behaviours.
