As an IT Regional Business Partner Services, you will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure platform at that site and others in the surrounding areas (Saskatoon, Lethbridge Ab, etc.). The scope of this role will also include other BASF sites in the region and will have will require some travel (upper limit around 25%).

Overlooking IP networking, displaying your knowledge of technical concepts of LAN/WAN management and ability to problem solve and manage third party providers.
Understanding of support concepts (patching, policy) to provide deskside support, as well as working with third parties to provide support.
Displaying proficiency in Security and Firewall topics, and understanding topics such as network cabling, wifi implementation, use of scanning technologies.
Ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of products through monitoring, testing, and implementing security measures.
Working with customers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
Regionally manage implementation of larger global projects which typically include other BASF teams as well as third party contributors.
If you have...
Bachelor's degree in IT Technology, IT engineering, Computer Science or related fields, or commesurate professional experience.
5+ years' experience managing site infrastructure, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or facilities with lab environments
Project experience, as well as experience working with digital teams
Proficiency in IP Networking (LAN/WAN management), network cabling, WiFi implementation, security/firewall topics and scanning technologies, and support concepts (patching, policy).
Experience working with customers, experience with third-party resources will be highly valued
Experience working in agricultural production sites will be a plus
