The thoughtful attention you provide to our guests will make them feel welcome and valued.Rate of Pay: $21.81/hourJob Duties Include:Act as a mentor who can train and lead the Boathouse team with effective communicationTake lead on canoe rescue operationsProvide training resources for employees in POS, product knowledge, guest service, and salesAssist in building a sales and service culture to maximize profitability and guest experiencePerform all administrative functions including proper record keeping of all rental forms, SOPs, point-of-sale system management, and operational health and safetyHandle customer comments/concerns/questionsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of post-secondary study1 year rental experienceMinimum 16 hour First Aid course requiredBoaters licence requiredRetail experience considered an assetPrevious leadership role experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingCapable of lifting and moving canoes (90 pounds+)Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsYou may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts.
