POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a CNC Press Brake Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating CNC press brake machines and related equipment to fabricate parts that meet precise specifications. You’ll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with a team that values quality, safety, and efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Operate CNC press brakes (e.g., Cincinnati Auto Form) and other fabrication machinery as part of the production process.
Select and install appropriate punches and dies based on material specifications.
Set up tooling, load programs and configure machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect tools and materials to confirm they are safe and suitable for use.
Fabricate parts in accordance with mechanical engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
Perform secondary operations such as sawing, punching, laser cutting, and tube bending as needed.
Prepare finished products for shipment and handle materials (up to 60 lbs.) manually or using hoists.
Maintain high standards of workplace organization, safety, and collaboration in line with company expectations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
High school diploma or GED is required.
2+ years of experience operating and programming a Cincinnati Auto Form or similar press brake machine.
Experience with CNC equipment and sheet metal fabrication strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of tooling and tool maintenance.
Strong measurement skills, including ability to convert between fractions and decimals.
Familiarity with materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tape measures, and calipers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Flexibility to work shift schedules and occasional weekends.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with Laser cutting/NC shear punch/NC Tube bending/Laser tube cutting is considered a strong asset.
