Synopsis of the role The Strategic Account Executive holds overall responsibility for the relationship with our most important clients. They are truly the “face” of Equifax. This individual works with their clients to identify pain points, develop and propose solutions to deliver value to their customers (increase revenue, drive efficiency, increase customer satisfaction and loyalty) and to ensure that delivery of those solutions is generating the outcomes desired by the financial institutions they interact with. What you’ll do Proactively establish and broaden relationships with existing and new executive clients within assigned portfolios Identify new opportunities and manage the sales cycle from discovery to contract execution and delivery Working within a team environment, provide insights and thought leadership based on understanding of client goals and strategic plans mapped to our data and key product offerings Maintain strong sales governance on all activities and exemplify exceptional professionalism and responsiveness Meet and/or exceed goals consistently and forecast any challenges well in advance of occurrence What experience you need 7-10 years of relevant large enterprise sales experience Extensive business knowledge of the financial services industry and their challenges in Canada Experience in information services and/or marketing, credit and risk management Experience in working within a matrixed team and driving results and communicating difficult concepts to influence others to adopt a different point of view External network within the industry to drive influence and credibility Ability to utilize sophisticated critical thinking skills to work through complex problems and negotiations Capable of summarizing issues and keeping calm when under pressure and dealing with senior executives What could set you apart Masters level education Solid understanding of cloud capabilities and transformative enablement Working experience and/or sales experience with large Canadian financial service providers Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities Primary Location: CAN-Ontario-Remote Function: Function - Sales and Account Management Schedule: Full time At Equifax, we believe knowledge drives progress.
