SUMMARY Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Stamping Press and Roll Former, as applicable. Pay Rate: $20.88/hr (40 hours per week) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following: • Operate Stamping Press and/or Roll Former. • Review work orders and prioritize run schedule based on required date or as instructed by Production Supervisor or Technical Lead Hands. • Monitor Quality of raw material and finished product and report deficiencies to Production Supervisor or Technical Lead Hand. • Perform a pre-shift inspection of Crane and fill out inspection report, as applicable. • Ensure accurate packaging and labeling of finished goods. • Report any equipment malfunctions to Maintenance Technician or Technical Lead Hand. • Maintain housekeeping /cleaning of equipment and around assigned work area. • Complete Daily Shift Reports. • Operate equipment/machinery following all Safety procedures. • Participate in Department and Company meetings, as applicable. • Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety. • Must work inventory day when needed. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Technical Lead Hand. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS • Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent. • Must have experience in a manufacturing environment. • Previous machine operating experience (min one year). • Demonstrates ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently without assistance. • Ability to complete production reports accurately. • Must be able to lift 40 lbs • Team player, strong interpersonal skills • Good written and verbal communication skills Westlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
